Preparation

Proper surface prep distinguishes a merely good installation from a truly exceptional one. We begin with a thorough wash and multiple decontamination stages to remove any bonded contaminants and industrial fallout. Next, we lightly machine-polish the panels receiving PPF, ensuring the surface is free of coatings or residues. This step not only enhances adhesion but also prevents lifting edges, setting the stage for a perfect application.

We use Xpel’s DAP software—renowned for its extensive vehicle pattern library—to generate custom-fit templates for each application. These patterns are computer-cut on-site with a Graphtec Plotter, allowing us to tailor the coverage, extend edges, and remove badge cut-outs as needed. Because we never cut directly on the paint, your vehicle’s finish remains completely safe during the installation process.

Finishing Touches
